| I had envisioned a slightly different color scheme for this piece but I really wanted to put that pretty Cardinal Bird into it. I have a Cardinal bird that comes to my window every morning and cheeps for food. It's a wonderful alarm clock. So that is why I wanted to include him in the painting. Crimson Red is needed to be added to the secondary colors so he didn't appear as a stop sign! The over all painting now has a warmer feeling to it than the 'frosty' feel I had originally intended. So warm it melted the snow! |
